Members of the Waterway Control Unit of the Customs Administration in the night between May 12 and 13, at 117 km of Danube near Smederevo, prevented an attempt to smuggle large quantities of diesel fuel.

At the Merdare administrative crossing the customs officers prevented an attempt of smuggling 2,110 grams of marijuana. The offence was discovered last night in a bus driving on the route Gora – Belgrade.

Owing to a joint operation of the customs and police officers at the border crossing point Horgoš on May 9, 2012, were discovered two Afghan citizens who had tried to illegally cross the state border concealed in a truck which transported the dialysis equipment to Germany.

The joint operation of the customs and police officers at the border crossing point Batrovci early on the morning of May 7, 2012 resulted in discovering three Afghan citizens who had tried to illegally cross the state border.

Owing to a joint operation of the customs and police officers at the border crossing point Gradina on May 7, 2012, was prevented an attempt to smuggle 144 gold coins worth more than 1 million and  700 thousand dinars.

In collaboration with the police, at the Batrovci border crossing, the customs officers prevented the smuggling of 10,594 grams of marijuana. The offence was discovered last night at the exit from the Republic of Serbia.

In collaboration with the police, at the border crossing point Batrovci, the custom officers prevented another attempt to smuggle marijuana. This time, the quantity concerned of the aforesaid opiate was 3.096 kg, while the smuggling attempt is almost identical to the case of the day before when at the same border crossing point was discovered 10 kg of this drug.

In a joint operation of the Customs Administration and the Border Police Administration was successfully broken another goods smuggling chain. The customs and police officers, in early morning hours on May 2, 2012 on the arterial road Mokranje - Negotin prevented the smuggling of the goods, the assessed value of which being over 90,000 Euros.

At the Kelebija border crossing, in collaboration with the border police, the customs officers discovered and seized the gun "SIG" (9mm), clip with leather holster and 49 bullets of 9 mm caliber.

During the night of April 28, 2012, by an in-depth control of the motorway Niš-Belgrade, in Audi 100 with Jagodina registration plates, the customs officers discovered a large quantity of weapons.
